Sustainable Energy:
District Energy

At CEPM, we take advantage of the residual heat generated by our generators to heat and cool the water in some 5,500 hotel rooms in Bávaro – Punta Cana, allowing us to avoid the emission of more than 35,000 tons of greenhouse gases each year.

Agenda 2030

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) build a vision of the future we want. At CEPM, we develop efforts to contribute to the SDGs 2, 3, 4 and 6, ensuring people’s access to quality health and education. Also, access to potable water and healthy, nutritious and efficient foods.

We also have an impact on SDG 7, whose goal is to guarantee access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services from clean and low-emission sources. This also contributes to the promotion of more sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11).
