However, we are aware that renewable energy continues to be intermittent in our country, so we recognize the importance of having an alternative to guarantee the reliability of the necessary energy supply. For this reason, we have changed our matrix from oil to natural gas, this being the most viable source of energy transition and diversification for the Dominican Republic today; in addition to being one of the least polluting fuels and low in carbon dioxide emissions that exists.
