CEPM’s first paddle tournament kicks off with enthusiasm and excitement in Cana Bay

La Altagracia, June 9, 2023 – In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, the first CEPM paddle tennis tournament kicked off, an initiative that seeks to promote sports, wellness and good habits, while fostering shared value with its clients.

The paddle tournament, which was attended by prominent players and enthusiasts of this sport, had its official opening in a special event led by the General Manager of CEPM, Oscar San Martin, who in his opening remarks highlighted “In our vision as a company, we seek to promote wellness and good habits among our customers and the community at large. We have observed the positive impact that sport generates in the community and in the promotion of balanced and sustainable development. We want to inspire more people to discover their passion for this dynamic sport and experience the thrill of competing in an inclusive environment.”.

Paddle tennis is a dynamic, exciting and ever-growing sport that appeals to people of all ages, genders and skill levels. It stands out for its inclusive nature, allowing men and women to play together and compete on equal terms.

From June 9 to 17, the paddle tournament promises to offer exciting matches full of skill and dexterity with categories for players of different levels, such as A, B and Mixed. A total of 50 competing couples will demonstrate their talent at the Cana Bay Racquet Club, which has been specially equipped for this occasion, offering a high-level sporting spectacle.
