CEPM’s first paddle tennis tournament at Cana Bay courts ends with great success



  • The tournament has had a total participation of 70 players with categories of different levels, such as A, B and Mixed, since June 9, in Cana Bay, offering a high-level sporting spectacle.
  • After the great reception of this first edition, CEPM announces that it is already preparing a second edition for next year.

La Altagracia, June 17, 2023 – The first paddle tournament organized by CEPM and Evergo at the Cana Bay Racquet Club ended with great excitement and energy, with the total participation of 70 players who have competed since June 9, in different levels and categories A, B and Mixed, offering a first class sporting spectacle.

In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and excitement, a total of 12 players won the coveted trophies of this first edition, and practically all the participants were able to enjoy prizes to close the day on a high note, thanks to the collaboration of the sponsors.

For a full week, from June 9, players and fans did not miss their daily appointment to enjoy this sport, which is considered today the fastest growing worldwide.

At the closing ceremony and awards ceremony, CEPM’s general manager, Oscar San Martín, expressed his gratitude for this great reception and announced: “The celebration of This first padel tournament, a pioneer in the area, is a dream come true thanks to the support of allies such as Cana Bay and the sponsors that accompany us. This success fills us with energy to prepare our second edition and continue to position this destination as a reference for sustainable tourism and sport, for the well-being of all”.

As San Martín recalled, the objective of this tournament goes beyond sports competition, as it seeks to promote values such as well-being, teamwork, diversity and inclusion, and sportsmanship. In addition, CEPM and Evergo are taking this opportunity to promote sports tourism in their concession area, showcasing the potential and further strengthening the image of this region as a versatile and attractive destination.

The development of this sporting event was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Aperol Spritz, Black Crown, Brugal, Bull Pader, Cana Bay, Evergo, Hard Rock Café and Punta Cana International Airport.
