CEPM obtains Gold Category in quality of service among AL distributors
In the region of electricity distribution company with up to 500 thousand customers, CEPM tied in the first seat in quality of service with Coopeguanacaste of Costa Rica, within the framework of a recognition given by the Comisión de Integración Energética Regional (CIER), product of the Investigation of Satisfaction of the Residential Consumer of Electric Power.
The Consorcio Energetico Punta Cana – Macao (CEPM) was selected among the first places of electricity distribution companies, with up to 500,000 customers, leading in the Latin America region the Index of Quality Excellence Perceived in the Satisfaction Research of the Residential Electric Power Consumer for this year.
Wellington Reyes, commercial director of CEPM, released the information in the sixth forum of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMRD) on “Energy Efficiency”. In the event he informed that the firm shares the position, in the aforementioned line in which 21 companies participated, with the distributor Coopeguanacaste of Costa Rica, both with 80 and 80.3, respectively, in the score obtained.
The award was announced in the framework of the XVII Road Seminar for Excellence in Distribution and Customer Relationship Services, of the Comision de Integracion Energetica Regional (CIER), which was held in the city of Trujillo, Peru, with the participation of 42 Distributors of 12 countries in Latin America.
For the Perceived Quality Excellence Index, the CEPM managed to benchmark or establish a benchmark, resulting in its category with the best score. The indicator is made up of the attributes of power supply, power supply without voltage variation and speed in energy resumption.
The CEPM executive said that the recognition achieved by the company “is a confirmation of the commitment to keep the customer in the first place of their priorities, offering quality services increasingly improved to achieve the highest degree of user satisfaction.”
During the AMCHAMRD forum, Reyes also spoke about the firm’s progress towards the fourth stage of its intelligent measurement system initiated in 2015, by now integrating “data mining” that, using artificial intelligence methods, will allow more accurate patterns to be obtained of its users and the market in which it operates, thereby raising customer satisfaction.
The Comision de Integracion Energetica Regional (CIER) is a Non-Governmental Organization, comprised of electricity companies and non-profit organizations. It is made up of 10 member countries and a regional committee for Central America and the Caribbean. Among its strategic objectives is to improve the efficiency of electricity companies and government agencies.
