CEPM & “Bomberos sin Fronteras” donate truck to firefighters of Verón



BÁVARO- The Consorcio Energético Punta Cana – Macao (CEPM), with the support of “Bomberos sin Fronteras” (Firefighters without borders) in his Canada chapter, got the donation of a fire truck for the Fire Department in Veron.

In a ceremony led by Colonel Miguel Álvarez (mayor of the Fire Department of Veron), CEPM’s general manager; Jesus Bolinaga, Deputy Mayor of the Borough; Angela Rivera and the representative of “Bomberos sin Fronteras”; Carl Eggiman, the company officially handed over the keys to the truck to the firefighters.

“For CEPM safety always comes first, this truck will help preserve lives in our area. Firefighters did not have the equipment necessary to do their jobs, but today it will not be a problem thanks to the joint efforts of “Bomberos sin Fronteras”, the fire department led by Colonel Alvarez and CEPM”, said Bolinaga in the ceremony help Tuesday in CEPM.

Colonel Alvarez thanked the institutions that made it possible for the fire department to count on a well equipped fire truck, for the benefit of the whole area of Bavaro, Veron and Punta Cana.
