CEPM completes seminars of social intelligence for Community Leaders



Through these seminars participants received emotional intelligence tools to handle crisis situations and conflict mitigation

BÁVARO, La Altagracia.- Community leaders from the area participated in a training session on leadership issues such as “Mitigation of community conflicts” and “Social intelligence” through two seminars coordinated by the Consorcio Energético Punta Cana – Macao (CEPM) and developed by the renowned firm Creavit and the organization The Brain International Project, a strategic group of senior management professionals and international consultants.

The company reported that these trainings seek to strengthen the behavioral competencies of the main community leaders and prepare them to strengthen community relations, and in this way deal more productively with the needs of their respective communities.

Meraris Vargas, Superintendent of Social Management of CEPM thanked the participants for having accepted the invitation through which the company seeks to continue working hand in hand with the leaders in pursuit of the benefit of the communities of the concession area of CEPM.

The seminars were given by Lic. Michelle Moloon, specialist in human behavior, and Enrique Jiménez, expert in neurosciences and director of the Academy of Neurosciences of Germany.

The communities benefited by this initiative are: Villa Playwood, Kosovo, El Eden, El Hoyo de Friusa, Mata Mosquito, Cortecito, Bello Amanecer, Verón I and II, Los Divorcios, Samaritano I and II, Brisas de Bávaro, Altos de Bávaro and Bávaro.

We will continue to be committed to the wellbeing of the communities, that is why we take care of taking these trainings to all of you, because we know that the support to the communities is vital to continue developing this tourist area, which is the most important in the country, “said the manager. General of CEPM, Oscar San Martín, when participating in the closing of the seminars.
